Jeanne-Marie Gilbert revives the art of singing accompanied by lute, guiterne and fiddle in the purest tradition of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Medieval Marian songs, trouvère songs, secular and spiritual arias from the Renaissance and early Baroque periods: these arias composed by the most talented artists in Europe from the 13th to the 17th centuries invite you on a journey filled with poetry, gentleness and harmony. Over the centuries, they have remained astonishingly alive.
