The 25/11/2025
Mother's Day
Theater
From age 12 - 1h15
Louise, a former Maths Sup student, tries her hand at stand-up comedy. She talks about her loves, her family, and in particular her mother.
Following a vitriolic sketch, mother and daughter haven't spoken in nearly three years.
Despite their estrangement and lack of inspiration, Louise decides to reappear at her mother's house to attend Mother's Day.
She sees the long weekend as an opportunity to nurture her next show. It's also a chance to catch up with her brothers Gabriel and Ziggy, and to meet their spouses Arthur and Florence.
Gabriel, the eldest, always in control, is particularly stressed this year, as he introduces his lover Arthur to his family for the first time. Ziggy, the youngest, has been living with his mother on a temporary basis for almost 5 years. He is accompanied by the eccentric Florence, who has a serious drinking habit and is also a very good friend of his mother.
As everyone gets to know each other, the mother's absence surprises, then worries.
Somewhere between the comedies of Jaoui/Bacri and Le Perche, Mother's Day is a tragi-comedy that pays tribute to siblings, to people who talk without listening and who understand each other without talking.
Information and reservations by phone or online.
