A sweet treat in Quiberon Bay

Aficionados of the Breton culinary heritage, do not not miss an opportunity to taste the many sweet specialities of the region: far plain or with prunes, homemade jams, salted butter caramel, fine crispy pancakes, buttered and shortbread biscuits, niniches or the famous kouign-amann !

The Kouign-amann is a puff pastry cake generously filled with butter and sugar. Caramelised to perfection, you will find it at many bakers and pastry chefs in the Bay of Quiberon. In the Biscuiterie de Quiberon or the Pâtisserie bretonne Kerjeanne, you can watch this speciality as well as Breton cakes and pastries being made. 

Good to know: some biscuit factories offer all these products for direct sale in their stores or factories, in the region’s markets, and also on their online sales sites.

After a day's visit to the Bay of Quiberon, a sweet snack is a must to taste the famous Breton crepe. Butter and sugar pancake, or salted caramel, with jam or plain... What a simple pleasure to share with your friends and children!

In July and August, from Monday to Friday at 10:30 am, 2pm and 4 pm.

A great chocolate maker and Caramelist, La Maison Le Roux is the creator of the famous CBS® "Caramel au Beurre Salé". The Landévant workshop can be visited all year round on Wednesdays at 2:30 pm except on school holidays, and Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays at 2:30pm during school holidays (Zone A and C).
