GR and yellow markings - All year round
The trail leads from beach to beach, up to the Pointe de Kerbihan and its viewpoint over Quiberon Bay. It also takes in the rehabilitated salt marshes of Kervillen.
Departure point: From the quayside, walk south along the harbor. The south pier (Éric Tabarly mole) and the first pontoons and slipway were built in 1963. The Société Nautique de La Trinité is based in this part of the harbor. The fishing port has existed since the dawn of time. It is enclosed by the fishermen's breakwater, which was widened and extended in the 1950s. The central dock and the Caradec mole date from 1975, while the north dock is the most recent and was built in 1994. At the end of the harbor, take the coastal path that begins at the anchor. Continue along the convex Men Allen beach. Continue towards Bois d'Amour, skirting the large mansions dating from the early 20th century. At Kerbihan beach, join Grazu beach, then the headland.
Step by step:
1) At the pointe de Kerbihan is "Ty Guard", the former house of the customs officers who watched over the bay (private property). After the pointe, follow the path to the large Kervillen beach. Go up to the parking lot and cross it. Continue along the salt marshes, restored in 2012 under the aegis of the Département du Morbihan and the commune, as part of the preservation of sensitive natural environments. These salt marshes, the most northerly in Europe, cover an area of around one hectare. The salt worker who operates them produces around ten tonnes of salt a year.
2) Turn right towards the salt granary, then left at the next junction, then right again to the Poulbert pine wood (picnic tables). Cross the wood and rejoin the main road.
3) Turn right along the road. At the intersection with rue de Kervouden, turn right. Alternatively, turn left for the round trip along chemin de la Vigie, skirting the Marais de Quéric-Kerdual. After 50 m, turn right into rue de Kervouden, then left into rue du Gréal. Continue as far as the crossroads.
4) Turn left into rue de Kerhino. After 50 m, turn right into chemin de la Hune and continue straight ahead to find the coastal path. Turn left to reach the port.
