Follow the path that, at the beginning of the last century, the inhabitants of the village of Saint-Colomban still followed to get to the village. Start: Place Saint-Cornély, in front of the Tourist Office.

Step by step :
1) Leave Saint-Cornély church (17th century, one of the finest Renaissance religious monuments in Morbihan) on your left, towards the Post Office, then turn right at La Fontaine to reach the supermarket. After a 30-minute walk, admire the view of Anse du Pô, once Carnac's busy port (trade and shipbuilding), now the cradle of oyster farming.

2) Join the village of Saint-Colomban, dominated by its flamboyant Gothic chapel, dedicated to Saint-Colomban, an Irish missionary monk (late 16th century). To the left of the altar, restored murals depict two galleons in the colors of the English fleet. Its inhabitants have long lived off the land and sea.

3) Follow the coastal path to Saint-Colomban beach, with its fine white sand. On the seafront, see 2 chimneys, the remains of a forge. The view of the bay and Quiberon peninsula from the Pointe is exceptional.

4) Continue along the coastal path to the yacht club. The Yacht Club is renowned for its wide range of water sports and events.

5) Cross the small bridge to Port En Dro, Carnac's former fishing port, and leave the thalassotherapy center on your right.

6) Return to the starting point, passing the Croix des Emigrés. This commemorates the mass said here when the royalist emigrés landed (1795) on the beaches of Légenèse and Saint-Colomban, as well as on the village of Le Bréno.
