Workshop "Trusting the gesture, introduction to intuitive painting" - 3h / 55 euros
For want of a better term, by "intuitive painting" I mean creating directly on the paper, without sketches, drawings or prior ideas, using only our inner state as a starting point.
What watercolour and ink have in common is that they are not easy to work with. No matter how many times you repeat the same movement, the result will never be the same. So you might as well let yourself be guided! Stop and watch your thoughts float away, just as you let the pigments make their way across the paper.
On the program: experimentation with tools, form and gesture to discover what makes you tick, and what emotions the brush (or other medium!) can convey.
A fun-filled workshop to practice the gesture, let go and find your flow... Like a meditation course, but without the Tibetan gongs!
PS: In order to fluidify the gesture and relieve the pressure to "make something beautiful", we'll be creating and experimenting a lot (and failing a lot!). We won't all produce the same thing, and in fact the opposite will be encouraged. So there'll be no standard final production, but the group's benevolent eye will analyze and sort through your productions. And I'm willing to bet you'll have plenty to redecorate with!
