Workshop "Introduction to abstract watercolor and gold leaf: create your own watercolor in mosaic format". 3h / 60 euros.

Tame watercolor in a playful, joyful way and create a large A3 "mosaic" format without looking like it (see swipe photo).

My aim is to convey to you the joy of playing with watercolor, this unpredictable medium. Let yourself be carried away by gesture and color. Reconnect with a form of intuition and try to let go of the final production, using the mosaic format (the whole is beautiful, even if there are individual "misses").

We'll start by learning the basics of watercolour. Then we'll take a plunge into color to build up a palette that suits you. Then we'll get down to the business of creating watercolour mosaics.

In the 2nd part of the workshop, we'll use colored pencils, pastels and gold leaf to rework and balance the initial watercolor composition. There's no pressure - any accident is transformable (and inevitable!).

You'll leave with the pride of having created a large-format work, and a healthy dose of self-confidence!
All levels welcome (and all the more so if you block on the final result by putting pressure on yourself to make something beautiful... mosaic is a great help in learning to let go!).
