Place Raoul Dautry

Around the station area

Take advantage of the renewal of the Auray-Pontivy railroad line and the arrival of the "Napoléon-Express" to (re)discover the history of the station area!

Discover the history and architecture of the church of Blessed Charles de Blois in the company of a heritage mediator from the Culture and Heritage department of the Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique community of communes.

Placed under the patronage of Blessed Charles de Blois (claimant to the succession of the Duchy of Brittany, who died not far from the site), construction of this Art-Deco church began in 1929. Designed by architect Guy Caubert de Cléry, the church features a reinforced concrete and metal frame structure that was highly modern for its time, as well as stained glass windows by the famous Mauméjean firm.

Reservations recommended at the Baie de Quiberon le grand souffle Tourist Offices.
