Historical and maritime festival "Meet the Venetians".

Following the success of the first Venetian Festival on May 1, 2022, in Lokmaria Kaer (Locmariaquer), with over 2000 participants and the inauguration of the Venetian stele, Kaer e mem Bro and the town of Lokmaria Kaer are organizing the second Venetian Festival on May 3 and 4.

The program includes music, conferences, stalls, meals, dances, crafts and historical re-enactments. Mark your calendars!

Program for the "A la rencontre des Venetes" 2024 festival :

Friday, May 3 :

- 6:30pm: Conference by Jacques de Certaines at La Ruche on the theme of the Venetes.

Saturday May 4:

- 9:30 am - 10:00 am: Arrival of the old sailing ships in the harbor.
- 11:00 am: Start of the festivities on the esplanade of the Place des Vénètes in Le Guilvin.

Speeches by the Mayor and guests

Departure of the "Bagad Ronsed Mor Lokoal" parade towards Place Dariorigum, with elementary school children dressed as Gaulish children. (Rue du Guilvin, rue Lafayette, place Dariorigum)

- 12:00 pm: Musical performance by the bagad.
- 1:00 p.m.: Meal under marquee: oysters, galette saucisse.
- 2:00 pm: Guitar with Durgan.
- 3:00 pm: Concert at Notre Dame de Kerdro church by the "Mouezh Paotred Breizh" choir.
- 5:30pm: guitar with Durgan.
- 7:00 pm: Meal under the big top: shank, dessert.
- 9:00 pm: Concert by Celtic rock band DOON.
