The exhibition "Istorioù sakret, Sacrée(s) Histoire(s). Once upon a time...the sanctuary of Sainte-Anne".

Galerie du cloître de Ste-Anne d'Auray 9 rue de Vannes
56400 Sainte-Anne-d'Auray
On the eve of the sanctuary's 400th anniversary celebrations, the exhibition "Istorioù sakret, Sacrée(s) Histoire(s). Once upon a time...the sanctuary of Sainte-Anne" offers visitors a new way of exploring the site's history.

After 2 years of closure for renovation, the Académie de Musique et d'Arts Sacrés reopens the doors of the Galerie du Cloître.

Visitors are invited to a new experience:

- A renewed scenography, approaching the history of the site through new objects and from a different perspective, that of the figure of Saint Anne, both key and gateway to this long history.

- The Gallery space is organized into 3 sequences: message, transmission and promise.

- At the end of each sequence, there are zones for rereading and mediation, to complete the story in a playful and educational way (objects to manipulate, audiovisual tools, etc.).

- A special place for the Treasure: highlighting the ex-voto and their conservation, and providing a new setting for the many gifts offered by pilgrims.

- Activities and guided tours of the exhibition throughout the summer: hands-on art workshops such as "Creating a Paper Decoration" and "Discovering Embroidery", observation games and riddles to help you explore the exhibition in a fun way.
