The Landolfi Quartet was formed in April 2021 and is joined by a fifth musician to form a quintet. After rich and diversified musical backgrounds for each of them, ranging from the Baroque repertoire to contemporary music, symphonic repertoire and chamber music, they decided to deepen their knowledge by exploring the string quartet repertoire on period instruments. They adapt their equipment and playing to the works they perform. Their encounter with the "Concert de La Loge", a historically informed chamber orchestra, enabled them to quickly find a common language and a communicative energy that they are happy to share.
