A complete 1h30 tour to discover oyster farming and the ria d'Étel, next to the famous little house with the blue shutters and Saint Cado.
From a parking area away from the crowds, you set off for a self-guided walk lasting around 30 minutes. A map will enable each participant to follow the route and to punctuate it with a few "appetizer" questions, thanks to playful signposting. Four questions to gradually enter the world of oysters at your own pace.
Arrive at the oyster farm, where Julie will welcome you and take you on a 1-hour group tour. Once the tables have been uncovered by low tide, you'll be able to get close to the bags, observe, touch and understand. The tour will cover a wide range of topics: the history of oyster farming, understanding the animal and its environment, what it eats and how it grows, the oyster farmer's and oysterwoman's trade, evolution, not forgetting the culinary approach!
(As an optional extra on certain dates, don't miss the country-style tasting at the water's edge!)
Departure point: Parking Route du Pont Lorois (opposite Aldi), Belz
Equipment to bring: CLOSED shoes that don't fear mud or water, depending on the weather, raincoat, hat, sun cream, water bottle...Cancellation: The organizer reserves the right to cancel the tour if there are not enough participants (Min: 6 / Max: 15) or if the weather is not suitable for outdoor activities. A solution for postponement or reimbursement will then be discussed with participants.
