Morbihan's manor houses and châteaux, often unknown to the public and hidden behind enclosing walls or thick woods, are revealed in this exhibition, in all their architectural diversity and according to periods spanning almost 10 centuries.
Eleven sites have been chosen to tell this story, offering a panorama of the evolution of the noble residence, over almost a thousand years of our department's history. For each site, a character is associated, whether lord of the manor or architect.
