Tea ceremony
11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Young students, trained in this ancestral art, come and share their knowledge with us!
This trio will introduce you to the history of this ritual. Once under the influence of Zen Buddhist monks, this ritual initially served to suspend time and conflict. Today, the ceremony serves as an active meditation. Through the meticulous preparation of Matcha tea, the aim is to achieve perfect harmony between host, guests and the present moment. The aim is to celebrate the beauty of simplicity and to experience what the Japanese call Ichi-go Ichi-e: the awareness that each encounter is unique and will never be repeated. It's a lesson in mindfulness, where we learn to savor the ephemeral.
