Festival Itinéraires - Sacred Breaths

The thirteenth edition of the Itinéraires festival in Morbihan opens the doors to a musical springtime.
music. Organized by the Académie de Musique et d'Arts Sacrés de Sainte-Anne-d'Auray, this itinerant festival offers the chance to discover or rediscover heritage treasures through music.
Whether soaring under elaborate vaulted ceilings or unfurling in the quiet of a more confidential chapel, the music is in dialogue with the place where it is performed.
Carried along by the velvet of a voice or the pure sound of a violin, the listener is invited to perceive the space in a different way: a painting suddenly catches the listener's attention, a sculpted ornament seems to come to life...
From a jazz concert to Baroque programs and incursions into the Romantic period, the festival invites listeners on a journey through time as well as geography.
Les Pages from the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles, and the Stradivaria and Amaranthe ensembles are among this year's guests.
The festival also promotes young talent (Psallette de Malestroit, Maîtrise de Sainte-
Anne-d'Auray) and local talent (the Agora and Nicolazic choirs, the Camerata Sainte- Anne, the Vo(x)yelles women's choir...).
