Workshop - Plankton observation

Discover the invisible life that inhabits the Ria d'Étel and the Erdeven coastline, and plunge into the fascinating world of plankton.
After sampling the ocean at Kerhillio* using a plankton net, the Plankton Observatory will show you the amazing organisms collected, live through a microscope linked to a screen. Their surprising shapes, lifestyles and essential role in aquatic environments will be explained in an accessible and captivating way.
The exploration continues with the observation of a second sample taken under the Lorois bridge in the Ria d'Étel, providing an opportunity to compare two rich and complementary environments. The session concludes with individual observation through a microscope, allowing everyone to explore their own drop of water and marvel at this unsuspected miniature world.
