Guided tour: in the footsteps of Auray Castle
First mentioned in 1069, the Château d'Auray was one of the residences of the Dukes of Brittany and a key battleground in the War of the Breton Succession.
The Château resisted French claims until the union of Brittany and France in 1532, before being dismantled a few decades later.
