Secrets of Neolithic pottery
Discover the secrets of Neolithic pottery from the time of the megalith builders with a ceramist.
Various secrets will be revealed: How did our ancestors make their pottery? What tools were used to create the decorations? What was pottery used for?
Animation/demonstration (1h) at 2pm and 4:30pm
After a presentation and demonstration of pottery making, you'll be invited to take part in a range of activities, including binocular observation, facsimile manipulation and reconstitution, and tool use.
Participatory workshop (1h) at 3.15pm (please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop)
Introduction to prehistoric pottery techniques to make and decorate your own micro-vase.
For families aged 7 and over (children are the responsibility of their parents).
Places limited to 20, on reservation
