“La ferme du Bois Fleury” is a fictional rural comedy based on interviews with farmers. 75% of the dialogue comes from these interviews.
Synopsis:
In the 1970s, two brothers share a farm. One takes advantage of the “Green Revolution” and grows grains using conventional methods, while the other experiments with small-scale vegetable farming. For fifty years, we’ll run into them regularly over drinks. They talk about farming, politics, and women… quite the lineup.
A show for all ages. Amid disagreements and brotherly bonds, this one-man show delivers a lively narrative where laughter and emotion take turns. A journey through the history of French agriculture from two diametrically opposed perspectives.
After 180 performances throughout France, Belgium, and Luxembourg—everywhere we’ve performed—it’s been a hit with audiences. Farmers say we’ve successfully captured the farming world—there’s no “agribashing”; it’s their story being told.
Admission is open; a suggested donation of 10 € is appreciated
