Treac'h er Goured
Considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Brittany, the dune of Treac'h ar Goured stretches in an arc of more than 2 km long, east of the island of Houat. Joined in the middle by a small valley wet and protected from the prevailing westerly winds, it reigns most of the year a soothing atmosphere conducive to relaxation, only disturbed sometimes a storm. From the ocean to the summit parts, all types of dunes are present. Embryonic formations, white, gray and fossils interpenetrate without other transitions than their singular plant processions. The site is owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Unsupervised beach The island of Houat is only accessible by boat, 30 minutes from Quiberon.
