Departure point: Le Petit Bois is a park dedicated to relaxation, leisure and sports, with a fishing pond, picnic areas, a sports trail and a tree-climbing park. Follow the park to the right, then take an old sunken path. Go straight on to the small stream, cross it and turn right to "la ligne de Noë Marrec". Follow it to the left.

Step by step:

1) After 200 m, turn right. Follow a narrower path to the "rond-point de l'étoile". Take the Croix Tortorec forestry line. After 100 m, turn right to see the Menhir Braz, the "grand Menhir" (over 3 m high), also known as the "Menhir de l'Étoile". This stela, erected in the Neolithic period and classified as a Historic Monument, is over 5,000 years old. Continue, turning left onto Route de la Pépinière. At the road, turn right for 50 m.

2) Turn right onto the path between the old Lambel school and the forest. Go straight ahead, cross the Croix Tortorec forest line, and continue as far as the Auray-Pontivy railroad line. Follow it to the right, passing underneath through the small tunnel. At the allée forestière du Nerven, turn left for 100 m, then right towards the Etang de la Vieille Forêt. Walk alongside the pond, up a path to the left. At the Vieille Forêt line, turn right to the railroad line. Follow it to the left.

3) Go through a 2nd small tunnel, turn right and follow the track to the Nerven line. Attractions Menhir Bihan (200 m on right), or "little menhir" in Breton, also listed as a Monument Historique. See also the Fionnec wash-house (left of the line). Go straight ahead, crossing the road to take the Loges line (new arboretum). Take a narrow path to the right. Cross the forest road and go straight on to the Noë Marrec line. Follow it up to the right. Turn left on a narrow path that leads back to the starting point.
