Carnac Prehistory Museum
The world's leading megalithic museum, the Musée de Préhistoire de Carnac is an essential prelude to a visit to the surrounding dolmens and menhirs. Don't miss the large alpine jade axes, the polished ornaments imported from Spain... so many prestigious objects, witnesses to the time when Carnac was a great European center of power and wealth, at the beginning of the 5th millennium BC.
Enjoy a space dedicated to free mediation for the young public, both friendly and educational. A variety of activities are on offer, including touch-screen discovery of the collections, drawing, building with wooden blocks, reading through comics, magazines or illustrated ledgers, and a digital quiz.
Activities are offered every day during the vacations (all zones). The program is available online.
