The 28/11/2026
A Large, Festive Charity Flea Market
On Saturday, November 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the media library will come alive with a spirit of community, solidarity, and sustainability.
Come stock up on reading material at bargain prices: more than 500 books (novels, comic books, picture books, and nonfiction) will be sold for €1, and magazines for €0.50.
A day that’s both meaningful and welcoming, thanks to several key initiatives:
• Charity initiative: A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local nonprofit, whose name will be revealed a few days after the sale.
• Eco-friendly initiative: As part of European Waste Reduction Week from November 21 to 29, the public library network is partnering with Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique to serve as a collection point. Bring your unused cell phones to give them a second life (reuse or recycling).
• Festive atmosphere: A piano will be available for the public to play a few notes. The media library team—easily recognizable by their pretty flower necklaces—will be on hand to welcome you and introduce you to their services.
It’s the perfect opportunity to combine the joy of reading with two good deeds!
Open to everyone / Free admission
Payment for purchases can be made either in cash or by check.
