On Saturday, September 5, 2025, the town of ETEL will host the “Couleurs de Bretagne” painting contest at the community center.
Since 1994, the Couleurs de Bretagne® association (under the 1901 law) has been working to promote Breton heritage by organizing painting contests open to everyone. All painting techniques are accepted: drawing, acrylic, oil, oil pastels, collage, watercolor, felt-tip pens…
SO GO FOR IT!
Several categories have been created based on age, open to participants aged 3 to 99!
The association’s volunteers and elected officials from towns and villages across Brittany welcome you in a
to help showcase this heritage and sketch on-site—during the day—a painting or drawing.
Experienced artists will be on hand to chat with you and offer advice.
Participation in these contests is open to all and free of charge.
Schedule for the day:
8 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Registration and check-in
8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Creation of artwork
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Jury deliberations and exhibition
6:00 p.m.: Awards ceremony and reception
