This documentary theater piece is a paradoxical invitation to the audience to open a door that is rarely opened: the door to madness—as if agreeing to cross a boundary, to enter a marginal space where the excluded, the mad, and those we fear and isolate reside. An approach that is at once philosophical, social, and poetic, inspired by people receiving care. Through storytelling, humor, and poetry, the performance explores isolation, assistance, care, and sexuality, and poses a burning question: what does madness tell us about ourselves?
