Introduction to Permaculture – Cultivating Living Soil

Château de Kerambar'h
56690 Landaul
The Gardens of Kerambar'h Castle and the Green Wave association are offering a new experience: a half-day introduction to permaculture, set in the heart of a garden that’s constantly evolving.

For about three hours, we’ll explore the estate’s various areas together: the ornamental garden, the food forest, and the vegetable garden, which uses living soil farming methods.

Through observations, demonstrations, and plenty of discussion, we’ll discover the principles behind cultivating living soil and creating a more resilient garden.

This tour is primarily intended for beginners and curious gardeners. No prior experience is required. The goal is not to provide ready-made solutions, but to share a different way of observing and understanding your garden.

On the agenda:
• understanding how living soil works;
• discovering the role of mulch, biomass, and trees;
• observing a productive vegetable garden cultivated without tilling;
• leaving with simple, practical ideas to implement at home.
