Learn the right techniques and habits for sustainable and respectful fishing. Observe and marvel at this incredible biodiversity. Indeed, a multitude of animals and seaweed—some more visible than others—live on the foreshore. Understand how all these living creatures—which existed long before us—can withstand all kinds of weather. Do they have magical powers that allow them to thrive just as well when the sea is in as when it has receded? What are their secrets? What do they eat? How do they reproduce? Can we eat them? What rules should we follow? Fun facts about the lives and habits of some of them, and about the “sex lives” of a seafood platter.
And what about seaweed? Whether it’s alive or not, what’s it used for? Is it dirty? Can you eat it? What are its benefits?
What to bring: Wear shoes that stay on your feet well and can get wet—no flip-flops. A raincoat and warm clothes, if needed. A bucket and a net (optional). A hat, a water bottle, and ocean-friendly sunscreen.
Ages 4 and up (must be able to walk on slippery rocks).
Limited spaces: 20 people maximum
Registration required at the tourist office or on Billetweb.
No shellfish will be collected for consumption to ensure sustainable and responsible fishing.
The activity is subject to a minimum number of participants.
