At 8:30pm Lecture "ZACHARIE LE ROUZIC, archaeologist and photographer in Carnac (1864-1939)". His rich and eventful life will be presented by his great-granddaughter, GWENAËLLE WILHELM-BAILLOUD.
Zacharie Le Rouzic was an engaging, unusual, intelligent, hard-working, erudite and self-taught character, who left his mark on the region and contributed to the reputation of its megalithic monuments. His name is associated with the Carnac town museum. A pioneer in the field of photography, he passed on some very interesting photographs, testimony to his era. He offered an exceptional view of the upheavals of local and international history.
