Built during the 17th century and consecrated in 1641, the Church of Saint-Gildas is remarkable for its blend of styles: Gothic, Renaissance, Classical, and even Baroque. Inside, discover a rich heritage: a 16th-century recumbent statue of Christ, a major 17th-century altarpiece, woodwork, choir stalls, and 19th-century stained-glass windows.
The church is currently undergoing a restoration program led by the city of Auray and its partners.
