Guided tour: The Congregation chapel
Built in 1682, the Chapelle de la Congrégation retains remarkable elements of its interior decoration, such as the choir's panelling and the tribune's painted decorations. A witness to the political tensions of the French Revolution, it was transformed into a revolutionary tribunal to judge the Chouans and émigrés captured in 1795.
