Guided tour: The War Memorial
Inaugurated in 1925, the Auray war memorial was designed by architects Dutartre, Caro and Ramonatxo. The poignant sculpture of a dying soldier by Mathurin Fouillen pays tribute to the Alréen.nes who died for France: an opportunity to revisit the history of its construction and the values it embodies.
