August 15 Celebrations in La Trinité-sur-Mer: From the Harbor to the Stars

A day of festivities centered on camaraderie, Breton traditions, and entertainment.

The day will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the Mass of the Assumption (a single Mass held at the North Docks) followed by the traditional religious procession to the Old Pier, accompanied by volunteers dressed in traditional Breton costumes

Boarding the SNSM rescue vessel bound for Petit Tréhé for the laying of a wreath in memory of those lost at sea and the blessing of the boats

Starting at 2:00 p.m., the festival village will welcome visitors of all ages with numerous free activities

Fans of Breton culture will also enjoy dances by the Cercle Celtique de Crac’h, a street performance by the Bagad de Port-Louis, and a concert by Les Copains du Bord, which will set the tone for the afternoon.

In the evening, the famous Celtic rock band Les Vrillés will get the fishermen’s pier rocking starting at 9 p.m.

As for food, several dining areas will be available throughout the day.

Traffic and Parking
To ensure everyone’s safety, the Cours des Quais will be closed to traffic:
- from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for the religious procession; from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the Bagad de Port-Louis parade;
- from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for the concert
