A demonstration of weaving on a weight-operated loom used in Europe during the Neolithic period to produce fabrics from plant fibers, by Charline Flaux, Master Artisan and Rare Weaver
Demonstration of Neolithic linen weaving using plain weave with a heddle bar.
Introductory workshop on loom-less weaving: making a pouch.
Ages 7 and up (Children are the responsibility of their accompanying adults.)
Capacity: 15 people
Four sessions are scheduled at: 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Duration: 50 minutes
