Smartphones, AI: What Challenges Do They Pose for Families?

Centre paroissial de Locmaria
56340 Carnac
Jean Pouly, digital anthropologist, author, and speaker, and creator of the Smartphone Show®, a workshop for discussion on smartphone use.

At a time of rapid adoption of AI in families’ daily lives (work, daily routines, school, homework) and
overexposure to screens and social media, parents and educators face unprecedented challenges.

In this talk, Jean Pouly will begin by exploring the various impacts of this hyper-digitalization on our cognitive system, our relationships, our decisions, our inner lives, and our bodies.

He will then propose adopting a resolutely constructive techno-critical stance by offering structured responses to avoid falling into the trap of “magic solutions” or fruitless panic.
