Why is Diane more likely to pass the baccalaureate than Kevin? With a dash of history, a healthy dose of sociology, and a whole lot of humor, two former teachers shatter common misconceptions about school and social inequality.

There are teachers who love their students, skilled educators whose very personalities are lessons in themselves, dedicated school administrators who fight every day to the point of exhaustion, involved parents, and inspiring students. We won’t be talking about them. We’ll be talking about Kevin.

They met Kevin when they were teachers themselves. He is the starting point for their reflection: why is he more likely to fail in school? With great skill, thorough research, and the audience’s enthusiastic participation, they put our preconceptions to the test against the facts and open our eyes to all the reasons that prevent schools from providing equal opportunities for everyone.

A thought-provoking performance that fosters a healthy awareness.
