Brought out of storage especially for this occasion, come discover the *Book of Miracles* kept by the Carmelites in the 17th century. This volume, which survived the Revolution, compiles the miracles attributed to Saint Anne since the pilgrimage’s inception.
This will also be an opportunity to present a magnificent 17th-century geographical atlas, also preserved in the Rare Book Library.
Both of these works will be examined in detail from a historical perspective and in terms of their craftsmanship (binding, materials used, etc.).
This presentation will be led by Julie Beaume, a conservator and restorer of antique books, accompanied by Estelle Oliviero, head of the media library and the Rare Book Library of Sainte-Anne-d’Auray.
