On Sunday, January 24, come see the travel and adventure documentary: *Bretagne par le GR34*. A film by Jean-Luc Diquélou
Synopsis

2,000 km is the distance between Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Nazaire along the coast. We’re on the Sentier des Douaniers, the famous GR 34. This is the challenge that this Breton, a native of the coast, set for himself: to complete this journey on foot! It takes three months to complete this route, but Jean-Luc spent three years there scouting locations, hiking, meeting people, and filming.

The Sentier des Douaniers was established during the French Revolution to monitor the coastline in order to curb smuggling and prevent any attempts by the English or Dutch—who were then at war with the French—to land on the coast.

From the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Malo, from Cap Fréhel to the cliffs of Plouha, from the Pink Granite Coast to Les Abers, from the Crozon Peninsula to Cap Sizun, from the Bigouden region to the Gulf of Morbihan, from the salt marshes of Guérande to the mouth of the Loire, the Breton coast will reveal, in all its wild beauty, the richness of the seascape, the environment, human activities, history, heritage, local festivals, and traditions… 2,000 km of sweat, 2,000 km of joy!
