Jean Atwood, a highly talented and ambitious young resident, is set on a career in gynecological surgery. But she is forced to spend her final six months as a resident in Dr. Franz Karma’s “women’s health” department. Neither this department, dedicated to listening to women, nor Dr. Karma’s controversial personality appeals to her. The open conflict between the two doctors leads them to strike a deal: one week to decide whether or not to work together. But patients can also teach healthcare providers a thing or two…
