Film Concert - The Velophone
The film concert is a genre that follows in the tradition of early 20th-century silent cinema, when musicians performed live music to accompany silent films. Here, two musicians ride onto the stage on bicycles and transform their bikes into unusual instruments to provide a live soundtrack for a selection of poetic and comical short films centered around bicycles and music. With humor, virtuosity, and creative upcycling, they invite young and old alike to discover a new way of listening to and watching movies.
