A concert by the Brass Band Lorient Bretagne Sud and the vocal ensemble Melodiam Meam Karl Jenkins is part of the centuries-old tradition of masses. This piece was originally dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Kosovo War. It was composed in 1999 as a commission from the British Royal Armories. It consists of 13 pieces. It expresses the rise of fear, the escalation of a conflict, and the return of hope for the future. It is an ode to peace, and the work champions humanistic values. The concert features works for brass band alone, vocal ensemble alone, and brass band and vocal ensemble together.

The concert will be sign-language interpreted and therefore accessible to people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
