On the night of January 6–7, Christian Ethiopia is abuzz with excitement for “Genna,” Christmas.
In the weeks leading up to the holiday, pilgrims set out from all corners of the country toward Lalibela, the Ethiopian Jerusalem, where the celebration is at its most spectacular.
To bear privileged witness to this faith, Frédéric and Olivier will walk for 23 days through breathtaking landscapes, far from civilization, moved by the surrounding spirituality.
