Screening of the film *Bretagne, par le sentier des douaniers* with director Jean-Luc Diquélou in attendance
2,000 km is the distance between Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Nazaire along the coast. We’re on the Sentier des Douaniers, the famous GR 34.
This is the challenge that this Breton, a native of the coast, has set for himself: to complete this journey on foot! From the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Malo, from Cap Fréhel to the cliffs of Plouha, from the Pink Granite Coast to Les Abers, from the Crozon Peninsula to Cap Sizun, from the Bigouden region to the Gulf of Morbihan, from the Guérande salt marshes to the mouth of the Loire, the Breton coast will reveal, in all its wild beauty, the richness of the seascape, the environment, human activities, history, heritage, local festivals, and traditions…
2,000 km of hard work, 2,000 km of joy!
With “Brittany and the Customs Officers’ Trail,” it’s a return to our roots. Three years of location scouting, observation, encounters, and filming will be required to complete this project.
Running time: 90 minutes
