On Saturday, November 14, the Espace culturel Le Roëlan invites you to discover “C’est la vie Ginette,” a touching documentary that celebrates life, friendship, and passing on traditions.
Ginette is a feisty little lady! Created by Anne in the 1990s, this puppet made audiences laugh and cheer in bars across France for thirteen years.
But when illness upends Anne’s life, a new story begins… She decides to pass Ginette on to her daughter, Gallia. A moving passing of the torch, where loss gives way to rebirth and where, despite everything, life goes on.
A sensitive and luminous film that reminds us just how precious human connections and the passing down of traditions are.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Antoine Tracou: a chance to extend this moment and share your thoughts!
