Introduction to Goldsmithing Workshop
Pieces of goldsmith’s work are preserved in the collections of the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-d’Auray. In the Treasury, these objects—on display to visitors in shades of gold and silver—amaze visitors of all ages. During this workshop, you’ll discover the secrets of the art of metalworking and the craft of the silversmith (an artisan who creates goblets, chalices, tableware, toiletries, and jewelry by sculpting gold or silver).
Drawing inspiration from the provided models, you’ll create a small metal object with a Christmas theme.
