La Falaise Beach

Plage de la falaise
56740 Locmariaquer
La Falaise Beach, also known as the “big beach,” is very popular with families. It faces due south and overlooks the ocean. It is renowned for shore fishing during high tides.

Located in front of the municipal campground and the RV park, it is the only supervised beach in the town. A lifeguard station in the middle of the beach is open during July and August.

Parking is available at Les Pierres-Plates (west side) or across from the entrance to the municipal campground (east side).

Public restrooms are located near the lifeguard station.

The town of Locmariaquer offers a beach access and swimming cart for people with disabilities.

This equipment must be reserved through the sailing club (contact@snlocmariaquer.com, 02 97 57 46 31) at Pointe de Kerpenhir. It is lightweight and foldable and fits easily in a car trunk.
