Josselin Castle
Home to the Rohan family for several centuries, Château de Josselin takes visitors on a journey back in time, with its imposing medieval towers overlooking the river Oust, its sculpted granite facade built in the Renaissance and its interiors entirely restored in the 19th century.
For garden lovers, the estate includes a rose garden with over forty varieties, an English park that stretches along the foot of the ramparts, and a formal garden created in the early 20th century by landscape architect Achille Duchêne.
In the château's former stables, the Doll and Toy Museum showcases the collection of Duchess Herminie de Rohan. Each year, a thematic exhibition completes the permanent exhibition. Around 600 dolls and their accessories are on display, as well as numerous toys and games.
