Come and discover the exhibition Architectures sentinelles, nestled within the remarkable natural site of La Garenne in Étel.
Florence Wuillai, a textile designer living and working in Vannes, is opening the doors of her studio to present her research work, carried out in residence at the Château de la Garenne between October 2025 and January 2026.
This residency is focused on the shifting landscape of the ria d'Étel, as the tides change, and on the "sentinel" animal that populates it, the oyster, a veritable architect of coastal environments and a precious indicator of the ecosystem's state of health. Her experimental research, conducted with scientists and oyster farmers, questions notions of the common good and biodiversity.
This residency is supported by the Brittany Region, in partnership with the City of Etel.
