Panacée, a steelpan (or steeldrum) duo featuring Clément Bazin on alto and Agathe Delaporte on cello. They offer a fresh perspective and a new take on the classical—and sometimes more contemporary—repertoire they perform. Creating a gentle and sensitive atmosphere, their shared goal is to perform primarily acoustically in venues that allow the resonance of this beautiful Caribbean instrument to shine through. Their repertoire consists of pieces originally written for piano by Chopin, Satie, Fauré, Mozart, Bach, Gonzalès, and Tchaikovsky.
