Conference: "Living in Brittany in the early Neolithic".
The recent discovery of an Early Neolithic dwelling in Ille-et-Vilaine provides new data on the way of life of the first farmers in Brittany, who arrived around 5000 BC.
This period is still poorly represented on the Armorican peninsula, and each site offers its own specific characteristics, demonstrating not only relative standardization but also the diversity of house forms, furnishings and settlement logics.
An interest in the habitats of this period helps us to understand how populations from the East, with their highly developed technical traditions and social organization, settled and adapted to a new territory.
Open to all, no prior knowledge required, no reservation necessary.
