From 20/06/2026
Exhibition at St Michel's chapel
Exhibition of paintings by Clémentine Le Gentil and Raku ceramics by Mireille and Gilbert Faurie.
Through Plume et Couteau, Clémentine Le Gentil develops a body of work combining acrylics, applied with a knife or brush, and watercolors. Her universe is built around marine and mountain landscapes, vibrant with color and energy, but also female figures, in movement or portraiture.
Originally from Alsace, Mireille and Gilbert FAURIE have two passions: one for Morbihan, where they spend most of the year, and the other for ceramics, particularly Raku.
An ancestral glazing technique originating in Korea in the 16th century, raku is characterized by its pronounced craquelures due to thermal shock on leaving the kiln.
Mireille's slender silhouettes, Gilbert's Japanese-style vases and stylized fish - each artist's universe is as colorful as the next!
